Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will take immediate action to remove or restrict access to the allegedly infringing material. We will also notify the user responsible for uploading the material and inform them of their right to respond with a counter-notification if they believe the content was removed in error or was misidentified. Requirements for a Valid DMCA Takedown Notice

Your written notification must include all of the following elements to be considered valid under the DMCA:

• A clear description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If the notice involves multiple works, a representative list of those works will suffice.
• Identification of the allegedly infringing material and specific information to help us locate the content (such as URLs or direct links).
• Your complete contact information, including full name, physical mailing address, phone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the content in question is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder.
• Your electronic or physical signature confirming the truthfulness of your claim.

After verifying the accuracy and completeness of the notice, we will take steps to remove the material and notify the uploader. The user then has the option to submit a counter-notification if they believe the takedown was the result of a misunderstanding or misidentification.

Submitting a Counter-Notification

Users who believe their content was wrongly removed may file a counter-notice. This is a legal document and must include the following:

• A description of the content that was removed, along with the URL or location where it was previously available.
• Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in your area. If you reside outside of the U.S., you must agree to jurisdiction in any U.S. judicial district where our platform is accessible.
• A declaration that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their representative.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not initiate a lawsuit within 10 to 14 business days after receiving it, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.

Important Legal Note

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly misrepresents material information in a takedown or counter-notification may be held liable for damages, including court costs and attorney fees. This legal safeguard is intended to prevent abuse of the process and encourage honest participation.
